Thermal Pipe Cutting & Bevelling

1″ to 20″  (25 to 500 mm)  ·  Oxy-fuel, plasma or both

MAG Tool represents Bug-O Systems for mechanized thermal cutting in Canada. Where a cold bevelling machine runs out of diameter, out of speed, or out of patience with a saddle cut, these machines take over.

Every machine in this group cuts pipe with a torch rather than a cutter head, which means diameter is cheap and profile is free. Saddles, offset saddles, laterals, miters, holes and irregular shapes are cut from a stored program — no cardboard template, no layout, no trigonometry on the shop floor. Programmable models save custom profiles for repeat work, and Windows-based programming software is available across the SE-Series and the MM-1.

Capacity runs from a benchtop coupon cutter for welding schools and union halls through to a 16″ roller-bed profiling machine for pipe spool fabrication. Pass-through models handle long lengths; externally chucked models take short sections up to 20″.

Send us your part print and let us look at your application. The right machine depends on diameter, wall thickness, how many of the same cut you make in a week, and whether the pipe comes to the machine or the machine goes to the pipe — and there is usually more than one way to make the cut.
